RELIABLE HEATING & AIR "NO HASSLE" 10 YEAR PARTS &

LABOR/LIMITED LIFETIME WARRANTY

After spending time researching all the different types of systems, choosing a contractor, selecting your options, negotiating your price and having the work finally done, the last thing in the world anyone wants to do after that process is to worry "what if it breaks?". We simply say "Don't worry about it...we've got you covered!" For 10 years, that is. That's An entire decade. Two and a half Presidential terms! Parts AND labor. If your unit fails for no apparent reason, call us, and we will repair your unit free of charge for 10 years. There will be no labor charge, service call fee, warranty admistration fee, or charge for parts (excludng filters). Furthermore, There are no warranty cards for you to mail in and no paperwork for you to fill out. The simple and easy warranty registration process is done online and is handled in-house by Reliable Heating & Air's post-installation department. There is simply nothing for you to do except enjoy your new Trane Comfort System and watch your utility costs go down! 

By purchasing the highest quality products from Trane and having them installed by Atlanta's Trane Comfort Specialists at Reliable Heating & Air, you can rest assured that the likeliehood of having future issues is very low. BUT, if something does break down, you're not going to be caught in the nightmare that some manufacturers call their "warranty redemption process". Trane is exceptionally easy to deal with and obtaining parts is usually a one-step process handled quickly and efficiently by the pros at Reliable and Trane. As Trane Comfort Specialists we have quick access and expedited service available to make sure our customers are top priority!

Our "no hassle" 10 year parts and labor warranty currently does not require an active service agreement. However, regular preventative maintenance is essential for optimum performance, maximum efficiency and longest life expectancy of your heating & cooling equipment and the lack of maintenance does affect the terms of your warranty.

We highly recommend preventative maintenance for all your heating & cooling systems for optimum performance and longevity. Existing systems may be added to your maintenance agreement for your convenience. Preferred customer service agreement customers receive discounts on parts and preferential service in the event of a breakdown on all covered systems. To maintain eligibility for lifetime coverage:

After the expiration of the complimentary service agreement, should the customer choose to continue the maintenance agreement with Reliable at current market price, we will provide a parts and labor warranty for as long as the agreement is kept in effect. This warranty can be transferred to a new owner at no cost, so long as the agreement is in effect at the time of sale and the new owner continues to maintain the equipment without interruption through Reliable Heating & Air each year on a semi-annual basis.

Customers purchasing a complete system receive a complimentary one year Preferred Customer Service Agreement, which includes 2 planned maintenance checkups per calendar year at 6 month intervals.

Maintenance visits should be scheduled in 6 month intervals. The complimentary visits expire 18 months from the date of installation.

 

The 10 year labor warranty becomes null and void if another heating & cooling contractor, or any other person or company licensed or unlicensed is hired to repair or maintain the unit.


The lifetime warranty becomes null and void if the preferred service agreement lapses or if another heating & cooling contractor or any other person, licensed or unlicensed, is hired to repair or maintain the equipment.

 

COVERAGE EXCLUSIONS: Coverage applies to mechanical failure of any of the unit’s components. Certain circumstances are excluded as follows: (applies to both 10 year and lifetime)

  • Corrosion of unit caused by pet urine or chemicals (such as lawn care chemicals)

  • Failure or damage caused by improper clearance of unit in relation to bushes, shrubs, trees, fences or other obstructions

  • Failure or damage caused by chewed wires pipes or hoses by wild animals, domestic pets, livestock, or rodents (I.e. squirrels, mice or rats)

  • Failure, damage or odors caused by foreign objects or creatures stuck in machinery or other components, including ants or other insects stuck in contactors.

  • Failure or damage caused by machinery such as but not limited to lawnmowers, weed-eaters or other machinery.

  • Failure or damage caused by theft or vandalism

  • Failure or damage caused by lack of basic maintenance of the unit such as failure to change filters regularly, failure to keep outdoor coils clean and free of debris, etc.

  • Water leaks and the resulting damage are not covered after a period of one year from the date of installation. Regular and proper preventative maintenance will usually eliminate any water leaks caused by clogged drain lines which leads to leaks and water damage but cannot prevent all water leaks.

  • Flood damage, rain damage or any other type of water damage not related to incorrect or faulty installation, wind, hail or tree damage or any damage related to inclement weather or "Acts of God", i.e. tornadoes and hurricanes, earthquakes, mudslides, landslides, sinkholes, etc.

  • Smoke or Fire Damage

  • Accidental damage resulting from home improvement or construction work done either by the homeowner or any third party, licensed or unlicensed. (i.e. damage from fallen roofing shingles, nails driven in copper linesets, clogged evaporator coils from sheetrock dust or floor sanding, etc)

  • Damage or Failure caused by power surge or lightning

  • Service calls resulting from frozen drain lines on condensing furnaces and humidifiers are not covered if properly installed.


 
The yearly cost of the service agreement is subject to change at any time.
